How Many Sims can be Registered per Person?
Maximum 5 SIMs Allowed on 1 CNIC: Time to Block Your Inactive SIMs : As per directives issued by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, all cellular mobile operators are asked to check the number of SIMs issued against one CNIC before selling new SIMs to customers and that new SIMs should not be sold to anyone already having over 5 SIMs registered against one CNIC.
With this directive in place, customers can buy new SIMs only if they have fewer than 5 SIMs registered against their CNICs.
Only way to get new SIM – for customers having more than 5 SIMs registered against their CNIC – is to get old, inactive and unused SIMs blocked before making a new purchase.
